The Nayland is a traditional swan neck wall light with a bell shaped shade of fluted glass, ribbed all the way round and finished with a gently scalloped rim. The brass finish arm curves out from a round wall plate to a brass lamp holder with its own small turn knob switch, so the light can be turned on and off at the lamp as well as at the wall.
Choose soft green glass or clear ribbed glass. Lit, the ribs catch the light and spread it in fine lines across the wall, which gives a warm, old fashioned glow beside a bed or in a hallway. The shade is 17 cm wide, the light is about 26 cm tall and it reaches about 27 cm out from the wall on a 12 cm round plate.
It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included, and it is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, so it needs a wall light point.

Does it need a wall light point?
Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to a wall light point and should be fitted by a qualified electrician. There is no plug. Once fitted, it can be switched at the wall or at the turn knob on the lamp holder.
Is a bulb included?
No, plan on one E27 bulb. A warm white LED of around 2700K suits both colours; a filament bulb looks lovely through the clear ribbed glass.
