About Eldrins
Our mission started with a basic frustration – too much lighting is either disposable or overdesigned. Thin pressed metal that dents in the box. Finishes that dull in a year. Or, on the other hand, sculptural statement pieces that clash in the room instead of completing it. We wanted lighting that stands proud over a kitchen island or a dining table without screaming about it and being thought out rather than trendy.
This way, we developed our own collection of considered pieces. Natural travertine of the Tivoli pendant. Smoked glass of the Hartley cascade. Ribbed, smoked, amber, opal and clear glass chosen based on the way each of them projects light on a worktop in the morning and on a dining table in the evening – not on how it looks backlit in a studio. Every piece earns its place, none of them just filler.

Making properly made lighting available to people who care about how a room feels, not only how it looks. Thought-out design does not need to cost thousands of pounds or require weeks of waiting time. Our Vision
Fewer lights in landfill. We strive for Eldrins pendants to be the ones moving from house to house, being rewired rather than thrown away and being eventually passed on. That is why we choose classic shapes and honest materials over trendy ones.

- Chosen for the finish. We select every design for its surface finish, whether it is natural travertine, alabaster, brushed brass, aged bronze, or ribbed, smoked, amber, opal or clear glass. The surface finish is an integral part of the design itself.
- Designed for real rooms. Real life means real life. We design for homes that get used rather than showrooms that are taken pictures of. Warm light. Normal scale for normal ceiling heights. Finishes that age gracefully rather than fade.
