The Hadleigh is a small flush ceiling light shaped like an open flower: six scalloped petals of clear water textured glass, each held in a thin brass finish frame, sitting directly under a round brass canopy. Lit, the rippled glass breaks the light into a soft sparkle and throws a gentle pattern across the ceiling.
It is 20 cm wide and only about 11 cm from the ceiling to the bottom of the petals, so it suits the lowest ceilings, under stairs, porches and landings where even a semi flush light would hang too far down. Fit one in a small room or a row along a corridor.
It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included, and it is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains.

Made for the lowest ceilings
On a beamed cottage landing it sits almost flat to the ceiling and still fills the space with a soft sparkle.
A gentle light for a small room
In a guest bedroom or box room the textured glass softens the bulb into a warm, even glow.
Rippled glass, thin brass lines
Each petal of hammered glass sits in its own slim brass frame, so the light sparkles rather than glares.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
Frequently asked questions
How far does it come down from the ceiling?
Only about 11 cm, with the petals 20 cm across, so it works on ceilings as low as 2.2 m, under stairs and in porches where a pendant or semi flush light would hang too low.
Is a bulb included?
No, plan on one E27 bulb. A warm white LED of around 2700K suits the clear glass; a small globe bulb sits neatly inside the petals and keeps the look tidy.
Does it need a ceiling light point?
Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to a ceiling light point in place of your existing fitting and should be fitted by a qualified electrician.
