The Cavendish is a small stained glass table lamp in the Tiffany style: a 20 cm dome of leaded glass on a cast base with a dark bronze finish. The shade is made from separate pieces of glass set in dark leading, with ivory panels over the top, a ring of small diamond jewels and a scalloped band around the hem. Choose amber, with amber diamonds and a honey amber band, or green, with blush pink diamonds and a soft sage green band.
When it is lit, the ivory panels soften the light and the coloured band throws a warm glow across the table; in daylight the glass keeps its colour. At 36 cm tall on a 10.5 cm base it suits a bedside table, a desk, a hall table or a windowsill, and a push button switch turns it on and off.
It comes with a UK plug fitted, so it plugs straight into a standard socket with no wiring and no electrician. It takes one screw fit bulb, which is not included; a small warm white LED bulb of around 2700K suits the glass best.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
