The Wenhaston is a small pendant light with a drum of ribbed glass, 17 cm across and 19 cm tall, hung from a brass finish lamp holder with its own turn switch. Vertical ribs run all the way round the glass and finish in a softly scalloped rim, so the light comes through warm and textured rather than as a bare bulb.
It hangs on a twisted brass coloured cord that adjusts up to 150 cm, so you can set it low beside a bed, over a kitchen island or above a desk, or hang two or three in a row. The switch on the holder means a bedside pendant can be turned off without getting up. Choose amber for a warm, honeyed glow, green for a classic English look, or clear for the brightest light.
It comes with a warm white E27 LED bulb and is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, with a 12 cm round ceiling plate, to be installed by a qualified electrician.

Yes. The cord adjusts up to 150 cm, so it can hang low beside a bed, and the turn switch on the brass holder lets you switch it off without reaching for the wall switch.
Is a bulb included?
Yes, it comes with a warm white E27 LED bulb. The clear glass shows the bulb, so a decorative filament bulb also looks lovely in the clear version.
How many do I need over an island?
For a typical island of 1.8 to 2.4 m, two or three hung about 60 cm apart work well. Hang them so the bottom of the glass is around 75 to 85 cm above the worktop.
