The Wangford is a traditional swan neck wall light with a white ceramic dome shade worked in a fine basket weave lattice. Where the ceramic is thin the light glows through, so when it is lit the whole dome shines with a soft woven pattern, and it throws a warm pool of light below.
The shade is 16 cm wide and the light is about 20 cm tall, reaching about 27 cm out from a 14 cm round brass finish wall plate. Fit a pair either side of a bed, or one above a hall table or a dressing table.
It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included, and it is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, so it needs a wall light point.

A pair by the bed
Either side of the bed, the woven domes glow softly and throw a warm pool of light down for reading.
A quiet glow in the hall
Above a hall table it gives a gentle, welcoming light and a soft pattern on the wall around it.
Light through the weave
The fine lattice in the white ceramic lets the light glow through, so the dome shines like woven lace.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
Frequently asked questions
Does it need a wall light point?
Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to a wall light point and should be fitted by a qualified electrician. There is no plug.
Is a bulb included?
No, plan on one E27 bulb. A warm white LED bulb of around 2700K suits the white ceramic and shows off the woven pattern.
How big is it?
The shade is 16 cm wide and the light is about 20 cm tall, reaching about 27 cm out from the wall. Mount it so the shade sits about 40 cm above a bedside table, or about 160 to 170 cm from the floor in a hallway.
