The Wangford pendant is a white ceramic half dome, 19.5 cm across and about 11.5 cm deep, worked all over in an open basket weave of small squares and star shaped cut outs. When it is lit, light shines out through every opening, so the shade glows and throws a soft lattice pattern onto the walls around it, while the open base lights the table or worktop below.
The ceramic has a glossy white glaze and is made by hand, so the lattice can vary very slightly from one shade to the next. It hangs from a brass finish lamp holder on a twisted gold coloured fabric cord that can be set to any length up to 150 cm, with a round brass finish ceiling rose. It shares the basket weave look of our Wangford wall light, so the two sit well together in the same room.
Hang one beside a bed or over a reading chair, or two or three in a row over a kitchen island or dining table. It takes one E27 bulb, not included; a warm white LED bulb suits it best and stays cool inside the ceramic. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, to be installed by a qualified electrician.

It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included. A warm white LED bulb of around 2700K suits the white ceramic best and stays cool. Choose a dimmable bulb if it will be on a dimmer switch.
