The Thornbury is a semi flush ceiling light for rooms where a pendant would hang too low. A ribbed glass lantern shade, 20 cm across, sits on a short brass finish stem below a round ceiling plate, so the whole light stays about 31 cm from the ceiling.
The vertical ribs in the glass break up the bulb and spread a soft, even glow across the ceiling and walls. Choose amber for a warm, honeyed light, green for a period English look, smoked grey for a quieter modern room, or opal for a soft white glow with no visible bulb.
It takes one standard E27 bulb (not included) and suits hallways, landings, bedrooms, box rooms and cloakrooms, and runs in a row along a corridor. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, and dims with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.
