The Snape is a traditional swan neck wall light with a faceted stained glass shade: panels of creamy ivory opal glass set in dark leading, with a band of small coloured squares in coral, olive green, yellow and sky blue around it and a gently scalloped lower edge. Lit, the ivory glass glows softly and the coloured squares light up like a little row of jewels.
The shade is 17 cm wide and the light is about 25 cm tall, reaching about 27 cm out from a 14 cm round brass finish wall plate. A small turn knob on the brass lamp holder switches it at the lamp. Fit a pair either side of a bed or one above a kitchen shelf or a hall table.
It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included, and it is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, so it needs a wall light point.
