The Huntingfield is a wide, shallow dome of amber pressed glass, 20 cm across and about 18 cm tall with its holder, covered in a fine diamond cut pattern and finished with a scalloped, lace like rim. The round bulb sits just below the rim, so the light falls straight down onto the table while the pressed pattern glows a warm amber all around it.
It has the look of the vintage pressed glass shades found in old farmhouse kitchens, and the pattern throws a soft sparkle across the ceiling when it is lit. It hangs from a solid brass lamp holder with its own turn switch, on a twisted gold coloured cord that can be set to any length up to 150 cm, with a 10 cm round ceiling rose.
Hang one over a round dining table, two over a kitchen island, or one over a desk or reading chair. It takes one E27 bulb, not included; because the bulb shows below the rim, a clear globe filament bulb in warm white looks best. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, to be installed by a qualified electrician.
