The Hartest is a small stained glass table lamp in the Tiffany style, with a 20 cm leaded glass dome of roses: orange and red blooms among green leaves and violet stars, set in dark leading on a pale ground. It stands on a slim cast column and a round base with a dark bronze finish.
When it is lit, the roses glow warm and rich and the lamp throws a soft pool of light across the table; in daylight the coloured glass still reads as a little garden. At 36 cm tall on a 10.5 cm base it suits a bedside table, a side table by an armchair, a hall table or a windowsill, and a push button switch turns it on and off.
It comes with a UK plug fitted, so it plugs straight into a standard socket with no wiring and no electrician. It takes one screw fit bulb, which is not included; a small warm white LED bulb of around 2700K suits the glass best.
