The Halcombe brass wall light is a classic swan neck sconce with a tapered white fabric shade and a gold finish arm and wall plate. The fabric diffuses the bulb into a soft, even glow, so it lights a wall warmly without any glare, the way a good table lamp does.
Its curved arm brings the shade 25 cm out from the wall, enough to wash light up and down the wall behind it. Fit one either side of a bed, along a hallway or landing, beside a sofa, or as a pair flanking a fireplace or a mirror.
The shade is 17 cm across and the whole light stands 23 cm tall, with a 10 cm round wall plate. It takes a single E27 bulb, so you can choose the warmth you like; a warm white LED gives the cosiest look through the fabric.
