The Ely two light vanity light carries a pair of stepped opal milk glass shades on a straight arm and a round wall plate, in an antique brass or black finish. It is the wider sibling of the Ely wall light, in the style of the schoolhouse lights once found in English schools and railway stations.
Milk glass hides the bulbs and spreads a soft, even light, which is what you want above a basin mirror or a dressing table: flattering, without glare or harsh shadows. It matches the Ely wall light and the Ely semi flush ceiling light, so a bathroom, cloakroom or landing can share one look.
It is about 41 cm wide, with two 20 cm glass shades that hang about 20 cm below the arm from a 12 cm round wall plate. It takes two E27 bulbs, not included, and it is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains. It has no IP rating, so fit it outside the bath and shower zones.
