The Bramfield is a small glass bell, 12 cm wide and 12 cm tall, made in two parts: a fluted upper bell in soft milky cream glass, then a band of raised glass beads and a flared, ruffled skirt in clear glass with a light champagne tint. Lit, the milky glass glows softly while the clear ruffle sparkles around the rim.
It has the delicate look of an old lampshade from a cottage bedroom, and its small size makes it easy to place: beside a bed, along a narrow kitchen island or at the end of a landing. It hangs from a brass lamp holder on a twisted gold coloured cord that can be set to any length up to 150 cm, with a 10 cm round ceiling rose.
Hang a pair either side of a bed, or three in a row over a kitchen island or breakfast bar. It takes one E27 bulb, not included; a warm white LED bulb of around 2700K suits the milky glass best. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, to be installed by a qualified electrician.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.

How big is it?
The shade is 12 cm wide and 12 cm tall, with the brass holder above it. The cord can be set to any length up to 150 cm.
