Key specifications
The Aldeburgh is a simple globe of frosted opal glass that sits straight on the wall, with no arm or backplate on show. Lit, it glows evenly all over and throws a soft halo onto the wall around it: a quiet, modern light for bedsides, landings and living rooms.
Choose the 15 cm globe for a bedside or a narrow landing, or the 18 cm globe for a living room wall or a pair either side of a double bed. The frosted glass hides the bulb completely, so the light is soft enough to look at directly.
It takes a G9 bulb, and a warm white G9 LED bulb is included. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains. The base behind the globe is only 4 cm across, so the wiring needs a box in the wall behind it, and it is for dry rooms only, not bathrooms.

Beside the bed, a pair of globes gives a gentle glow for reading and winding down, with nothing to knock off the bedside table.
A row of globes along a landing gives soft, even light at night without any glare.
The frosted opal glass spreads the light evenly, so there is no bright spot, just a soft halo on the wall.

We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
The 15 cm globe suits bedsides, small landings and narrow walls. The 18 cm globe suits living rooms, larger landings and a pair either side of a double bed.
