The Iken is a small wall light with a faceted tulip shaped glass shade, 15 cm across and 12 cm tall, with a wavy scalloped rim and a quilted diamond pattern pressed into the glass. Choose deep green, warm amber or clear glass. The shade hangs from a brass finish lamp holder with its own turn switch, on a short angled arm from a round 12 cm wall plate.
The shade sits about 16 cm out from the wall and the head turns, so you can point the light down onto a pillow or out across a hallway. Lit, the pattern scatters a soft sparkle across the glass and the wall. A pair either side of a bed or a mirror looks especially good.
It takes one E27 bulb, not included; a warm white filament bulb suits the glass. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains and dry indoor rooms, to be installed by a qualified electrician.
