The Cookley is a mid century style pendant: a wide, flat disc of glossy coloured glass, 25 cm across, under a small coloured cap, with a round globe bulb showing beneath. Choose olive with a wine red cap, orange with a wine red cap, cream with a wine red cap, or green with a pale stone cap.
Lit, the bulb glows below the disc while the glass catches the light around its rim, so it reads as a soft ring of colour over a dining table, a kitchen corner or a bedside. Hang two or three in different colours over a table for a playful row, or one on its own as a splash of colour. It is the pendant partner of our Bawdsey flush light, which has the same disc, and sits well beside the Thaxted.
It takes one E27 bulb, not included; it is designed for a round opal globe bulb, as shown in our photos. It hangs on a thin cord adjustable up to 120 cm, and it is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains and dry indoor rooms, to be installed by a qualified electrician.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
Frequently asked questions
Which bulb should I use?
It takes one E27 bulb, not included. It is designed to show a round opal globe bulb below the disc, as in our photos; a warm white LED globe of about 2700K looks best.
How big is it?
The glass disc is 25 cm across, a little narrower than a dinner plate, and the light is about 20 cm tall with a globe bulb fitted.
Can I mix the colours?
Yes. All four colours share the same disc and cord, so two or three in different colours hang neatly together in a row.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Every order ships free, with no minimum spend. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy.
Will I receive tracking information for my order?
Yes. As soon as your order ships we email your tracking number, and you can follow it any time on our Order Tracking Page.
What is your return policy timeframe?
You have 30 days from the day your order arrives. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.
Do I pay a restocking fee?
No. There are no restocking fees. See our Refund Policy.
What if my item is damaged or defective?
Damaged, defective or incorrect items are free to return. See our Refund Policy.
