The Chediston wall light carries a small cream glazed ceramic shade, hand painted in a red brown that recalls old farmhouse china, on a short brass finish arm from a round 10 cm wall plate. Choose the Scalloped shade, a softly wavy drum 16.5 cm across with a painted garland of swags, bows and tassels, or the Lattice shade, a tapered drum 17 cm across with a raised diamond pattern and small painted bows.
The shade sits about 16 cm out from the wall and angles slightly downwards, so the light falls onto a pillow, a console table or the stairs while the glaze glows warmly above. A pair either side of a bed frees both bedside tables; one beside a mirror or a picture lights a landing or a hallway. Because each shade is painted by hand, the pattern varies a little from one to the next.
A warm white LED bulb with an E27 fitting is included. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains and dry indoor rooms, to be installed by a qualified electrician. It matches the Chediston pendant and ceiling light.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
Frequently asked questions
How far does it stick out from the wall?

Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It has no IP rating, so it is for dry indoor rooms such as bedrooms, landings, hallways and living rooms.

Will I receive tracking information for my order?
