The Brantham is a pendant light with a matte white ceramic shade, the quiet, textured kind you find in a good country kitchen. Each shade hangs from a brass finish lamp holder with a small turn switch on the side, on a twisted brown cord, from a round brass finish ceiling plate.
Choose from four shapes. The Ribbed Bell is 17.5 cm wide with fine vertical ribs; the Ribbed Dome is a wider, lower 19.5 cm half dome with the same ribs; the Chevron Drum is a 16.5 cm drum pressed with a herringbone pattern; and the Ringed Dome is a softly rounded 20 cm shade wrapped in fine rings. Ceramic is opaque, so the light falls in a warm pool below, which makes them ideal in a row over an island or a table, and they mix happily together.
The shades are 10 to 13 cm tall. The cord adjusts up to 200 cm and the ceiling plate is 12 cm across. Each comes with a 4 W E27 LED bulb, and it is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, to be installed by a qualified electrician.

Mixed over the island
Three shapes in a row over a kitchen island, each throwing a warm pool of light below.
Calm over the table
A single ribbed dome over a farmhouse table gives a soft, focused light for supper.
Texture you can feel
Fine ribs catch the light across the matte white glaze, below a brass finish holder.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
Frequently asked questions
Which shape should I choose?
The Ribbed Bell (17.5 cm) and Chevron Drum (16.5 cm) suit a row over an island; the Ribbed Dome (19.5 cm) and Ringed Dome (20 cm) are wider and lower, lovely over a table. They also look good mixed together.
Is a bulb included?
Yes, a 4 W E27 LED bulb is included with each light. The holder takes bulbs up to 60 W; a warm white bulb of around 2700K suits white ceramic best.
Can I adjust the drop?
Yes. The twisted cord adjusts up to 200 cm, so it can hang low over an island or higher in a hallway. Your electrician sets the length when fitting it.
