The Boyton is a round clear glass globe, 15 cm across and 17.5 cm tall, finished all over with a fine network of crackle lines. Off, it looks like old ice; lit, every line catches the light and the globe sparkles with a warm glow.
The globe is open at the top where it meets a brass finish lamp holder, and it hangs on a twisted brown fabric cord that can be set to any length up to 200 cm. Hang one beside a bed or in a small hallway, or two or three in a row over a kitchen island or a dining table.
An E27 LED bulb is included. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains and dry indoor rooms, to be installed by a qualified electrician.
