The Blythburgh is a wall light made from a single piece of thick coloured glass, folded like a draped handkerchief, with a softly waved rim. It sits close to the wall and opens upwards, so it washes warm light up the wall while the glass itself glows from within.
Choose honey amber, olive green, deep garnet or milky opal. The glass is semi opaque with a gentle shimmer, so the two small bulbs inside stay hidden and the light comes through as a soft glow, and the colour varies a little from one shade to the next. A pair either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace looks especially good, and a single light warms a hallway or a landing.
It is 28 cm wide, 20 cm tall and sits 13 cm from the wall. It comes with two warm white E14 LED bulbs. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, to be installed by a qualified electrician.
