The Alderton is a large pendant shaped like an open flower: wide petals of woven cane webbing, each edged with a slim rattan frame, layered around a woven cane dome. Lit, the cane glows a warm golden colour and the weave scatters a soft pattern of light around the room.
It is 60 cm across and 30 cm tall and hangs on a black cord that adjusts up to 140 cm. Hang it over a round dining table, in a bedroom or in a sitting room, where it brings a relaxed, coastal feel. The petals fit onto the frame at home.
The rattan is natural and woven by hand, so small marks and variations in colour are part of its character, and it mellows to a deeper honey colour over time. It takes one E27 bulb, not included. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains and dry indoor rooms, to be installed by a qualified electrician.

Over the dining table
Hung over a round table, the Alderton glows golden and scatters a soft pattern of light.
A calm bedroom
In a bedroom it softens the room with warm, filtered light and a natural texture.
Woven by hand
Each petal is a panel of woven cane in a slim rattan frame, so the light glows through the weave.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
Frequently asked questions
How big is it?
60 cm across and 30 cm tall. The cord adjusts up to 140 cm, so it suits rooms with a standard or a high ceiling.
Is a bulb included?
No. It takes one E27 bulb; a warm white LED bulb suits the rattan best and stays cool.
Does it need assembling?
Only a little. The woven petals fit onto the frame at home, and the light is then hardwired by an electrician.
