The Witnesham is the library light in wall form: a curved bankers shade in green cased glass, white on the inside to throw the light down, held on a short antique brass finish arm from a round wall plate, with small brass end finials and a brass bead pull chain.
The shade is about 20 cm wide and the light sits about 26 cm out from the wall, so it reaches over a desk, a reading chair or a pillow and lights the page while the green glass glows. Fit one over a desk or bookcase in a study, or a pair either side of a bed as reading lights, each with its own pull chain.
An LED bulb is included. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains and dry indoor rooms, to be installed by a qualified electrician; the pull chain turns it on and off as well as your wall switch.
