The Tunstall is a dome of olive green pressed glass covered in a hobnail diamond texture, with a deep scalloped rim of pointed tips, 19 cm across and 20 cm tall. It hangs from a brass finish holder with a turn switch on a twisted fabric cord under a round 10 cm brass finish ceiling plate.
Lit, every little diamond catches the light, so the whole shade sparkles like cut glass, and the points of the rim glow brightest of all. It is the biggest of our green glass pendants and makes a fine pair over a kitchen island or a single light above a side table in a reading corner. It matches the Blaxhall and Parham pendants in the same glass.
The cord adjusts up to 150 cm. It takes one E27 bulb, not included; a 4 to 6 W warm white LED globe suits the textured glass best. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains, to be installed by a qualified electrician.
