The Eyke is a small pendant with a shallow coolie shade in a polished brass finish, pressed into fine scalloped flutes like a pleated hat, 22 cm across and about 10 cm deep. The bulb hangs just below the rim, so the light falls in a clear pool beneath while the flutes catch a warm golden glow above.
It hangs from a brass finish lamp holder with its own small turn switch, on a twisted brown fabric cord that can be set to any length up to 200 cm. One works over a bedside table or a reading chair; two or three in a row suit a kitchen island, a breakfast bar or a long table.
An E27 LED bulb is included. It is a hardwired fitting for standard UK mains and dry indoor rooms, to be installed by a qualified electrician.
