The Bramford is the classic bankers desk lamp: a long, curved glass shade on an antique brass finish stem with a turned collar, a round stepped base and a brass pull chain to switch it on and off. Choose the traditional green cased glass, deep green outside and white inside, or a soft opal white glass that glows all over.
The shade is 26.5 cm wide and the lamp stands 36 cm tall on an 18 cm base, a size that suits a writing desk, a study, a library corner or a bedside table. The shade sends the light down onto the page while the glass glows warmly above it, and at about 2.7 kg the lamp stands steady.
It takes one E27 bulb, not included; a warm white LED bulb suits it best and keeps the shade cool. It comes with a UK plug, so it is ready to use with no installation.

Made for the desk
On a writing desk the Bramford throws a warm pool of light onto the page and glows green as you work.
By the bed
In opal white it gives a soft, even glow on a bedside table, with the pull chain within easy reach.
Cased green glass
The traditional shade is green outside and white inside, so the light below stays clear and warm.

Chosen for the finish
We choose each design for how its surface handles light: natural travertine, brushed brass, aged bronze or ribbed glass. The finish is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Built for real rooms
We design for homes that get lived in, not showrooms that get photographed. Warm, unobtrusive light. A scale that suits an ordinary ceiling. Finishes that age rather than wear out.
