It runs on a rechargeable LED bulb, so there is no wiring and no electrician: fix the plate to the wall, set the shade in place and it is ready.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bulb sits on a magnetic holder and lifts out to recharge. A remote switches it on and off, dims it smoothly and sets a timer, and you can choose warm, neutral or cool white (it also does colours if you ever want them).
